The inspiration for this project stems from the desire to tell the story of the strong bond that unites man, nature and time in my region, the Aosta Valley.

'Framing a Romanian Landscape,' a new photobook by photographer Mircea Sorin Albuțiu. In 2021, Albuțiu, known for capturing the unseen in life's backstages, embarked on 8-month journey, traveling 11,000 kilometers across Romania while riding 62 trains.

Below the Sea of Fog, was shot over the three-plus years of the pandemic. The pandemic haunts us still. For myself, the pandemic was marked by my family’s health challenges, and my own work reversals as a feature film maker.

“Once, while showing the city where I grew up to a friend, I arrived at a familiar street from my childhood and did not find the house I expected to see. There was another building in its place, and the neighboring houses looked different.”

Fauve explores our ties to the outdoors and our relationship with intuition. It’s not a question of an impulse towards nature, but towards the living.

The project ”Promenade” is a portrait of a place, Promenade des Anglais. A lively beachwalk with tourists all year round but also a natural promenade for people resident in Nice.

“The project explores the idea of walking as shared experience, and using it to help people ruminate on, and overcome something in their life.”

Loop attempts to visualize missing pieces, exploring conflicting emotions that can arise when contemplating the unknown.

Aeons From the Scorching Sun explores the omniscient presence of the sun in implicit terms. Revered as a symbol of aspirational virtues and prestige, the sun’s portrayal is typically laden with positive connotations.

“hearth” is an autobiographical investigation that brings together photographs, archive images and personal documents, produced between France and Argentina in 2022 and 2023.

I spend my time searching for these understated moments. I relish in highlighting these tiny observations and see it as an act of defiance against the surf and the sand that most flock to.

Number 1 is the outcome of archival research in my paternal grandparents' photo album.
