Julley (hello, goodbye, thank you… the all-purpose salutation) portrays the imprints of human life in one of the most difficult terrains.

I shot this series of photos in one of the most dynamic places in India named Ladakh (Union Territory). It's one of the highest plateaus in the world, encircled by some of the highest mountain ranges. A fall of oxygen concentration up to 40% leaves a human gasping for breath initially unless they are acclimatized.
