Uetsugu Kotomi - Pull of X

December 05, 2025 by Gergo Farkas

By photographing what we see, we become aware of how unaware we are of ourselves and our surrounding environment. This work explores how the world is made not only of orderly things, but also of everything else around them. A good photo can show emotion or remove it entirely to feel universal. What matters is balancing the unique and the universal, reaching the viewer’s senses. Breaking rhythm—betraying expectations—makes it most engaging.
