Takumi Sogo describes himself as a “typical workaholic business man,” who enjoys his weekend interludes by taking photos around Tokyo. As of recently, he’s felt as though the things and sights around him have been whispering through his lens. The photographs in his series Unknown Voice are all connected through their silent musings. Takumi reflects on how each is slightly unsettling; objects and moments from our daily lives, when alongside each other, somehow resemble a world different to our own. Even so, he writes, “I still think we can understand what they’re saying.”
