When we are born, we know we are going to die. Sometimes we avoid thinking about it, but it is the law of life. Ever since I was little I have thought a lot about death, so I decided that they, who are close to our final moment, should talk to me about life. "When I'm old I want to be like that." talks about optimism, enthusiasm, enjoyment, doing the things you've always wanted to do and that it's never too late, even when you're 80 years old and your strength is failing. This project speaks of the fact that old age can be a new youth.

My documentary series is about the life of a group of elderly people who go to the social halls that the city has for retired people and in this case the hall is next to the beach. These people have always lived near the sea and it shows in their enthusiasm and in the way they see life. They are cheerful, active and positive persons. In this project I wanted to talk about life, and what better than them to tell me how we should spend it?
