Jason Guan - No Fun Vancouver

June 25, 2021 by Gergo Farkas

As an immigrant who was born in the US, spending my childhood in China, and now residing in Canada, I've never had a sense of home. However, Vancouver allows me to have a new identity to step into adulthood and this city will forever have a special place in my heart. Many unexpected and sudden incidents have happened around me and my family in the past four years since I came here, and I always felt life is no fun because of the boredom and the unfortunates. Maybe I still feel the same way but a camera gives me a reason to look for fun in this no fun city and this no fun life. This ongoing series called No Fun Vancouver consists of the things I see in Vancouver that give me the fun, understanding, hope, and much-needed connection.
